A severe storm on 23rd February 2026 caused significant damage to Ekklesia Day Care in Dar es Salaam, affecting classrooms, roofs, learning materials, and furniture. 20 children have been impacted, including 5 children with special needs. The damage has interrupted their early childhood education and created an unsafe learning environment.
We urgently need your support to repair the damaged roofs and structures, fix water damage, and restore a safe and conducive space for learning. Under normal conditions, the center serves up to 100 children.
